Laura-Lee Was Here: Internet Shut Off

My Internet is to be disconnected in the next 24 hours. I'll come back if I can. It's in God's hands. As is everything.

My final advice. Get a Bible and start talking and LISTENING to Jesus. Don't be afraid. He loves you.

Speaking the truth with love,

Always, Laura-Lee

Psalm 40

1 I waited patiently for the Lord;

    he turned to me and heard my cry.

2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit,

    out of the mud and mire;

he set my feet on a rock

    and gave me a firm place to stand.

3 He put a new song in my mouth,

    a hymn of praise to our God.

Many will see and fear the Lord

    and put their trust in him.

4 Blessed is the one

    who trusts in the Lord,

who does not look to the proud,

    to those who turn aside to false gods.[b]

5 Many, Lord my God,

    are the wonders you have done,

    the things you planned for us.

None can compare with you;

    were I to speak and tell of your deeds,

    they would be too many to declare.

6 Sacrifice and offering you did not desire—

    but my ears you have opened[c]—

    burnt offerings and sin offerings[d] you did not require.

7 Then I said, “Here I am, I have come—

    it is written about me in the scroll.[e]

8 I desire to do your will, my God;

    your law is within my heart.”

9 I proclaim your saving acts in the great assembly;

    I do not seal my lips, Lord,

    as you know.

10 I do not hide your righteousness in my heart;

    I speak of your faithfulness and your saving help.

I do not conceal your love and your faithfulness

    from the great assembly.

11 Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord;

    may your love and faithfulness always protect me.

12 For troubles without number surround me;

    my sins have overtaken me, and I cannot see.

They are more than the hairs of my head,

    and my heart fails within me.

13 Be pleased to save me, Lord;

    come quickly, Lord, to help me.

14 May all who want to take my life

    be put to shame and confusion;

may all who desire my ruin

    be turned back in disgrace.

15 May those who say to me, “Aha! Aha!”

    be appalled at their own shame.

16 But may all who seek you

    rejoice and be glad in you;

may those who long for your saving help always say,

    “The Lord is great!”

EMERGENCY Help for AISH Recipients

  AISH (Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped) might help with utilities in arrears but the only way is to apply by email with all the particulars of your situation.

 Attach documentation of :

2 latest bank statements

Proof of amount owing

Recent AISH pay stubb

Proof of rent

(and anything else you can prove)

Keep it concise and in point form where possible and include a monthly budget with a list of all and any extra

costs due to COVID-19.

 I was told by AISH:

They never pay for your telephone or internet

They may consider the Epcor but "no guarantees

 You have to pay it back by AISH removing some from your benefits each month.

Also, if you haven't tried making several previous payment arrangements to work something out with your utility company, AISH won't even consider your request.

 Also, don't believe the misconceptions that you won't have your heat cut off in the winter.

Or

As long as you pay something each month the utility companies won't cut you off.

When you get behind, down go your utilities.

Even if you think you don't have a shot, go for it anyway. Even if they refuse you are already desperate with nothing to lose and you may just get someone in a good mood who wants to help you.

Yes. I know. But keep in mind I'm a Christian who believes  in miracles. And every once in awhile I see one happen

Sincerely, Laura-Lee

Rest WHILE Soaring

" God helps those who help themselves." - Anonymous

"No try. Do or Do not." - Yoda

Good wisdom, Bad Grammar?

Sound advice and full of wisdom and both totally depressing and neither one in the Bible. In fact, both run exactly opposite to what the Bible says and what God wants us to know.

Consider when the Hebrews were finally on their way out of slavery in Egypt only to discover that Pharaoh changed his mind about letting them go and decided to take his army and chariots, race after them and slaughter them all. Pharaoh on one side and the Red Sea blocking their only escape.

 " And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So they were very afraid, and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord11 Then they said to Moses, “Because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you so dealt with us, to bring us up out of Egypt? 12 Is this not the word that we told you in Egypt, saying, ‘Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness.”

13 And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation[b] of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. 14 The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold[c] your peace.”

Exodus 14:10-14 NKJV

I love that phrase, "The Lord will fight for you." Also notice the phrase, "Stand still". And you know what happened? The LORD opened up the Red Sea and those several million FORMER slaves walked away, "on dry ground." They couldn't help themselves at all. EXACTLY the type of people the Lord longs to have as His followers. The Bible is filled with story after story of how when we humans couldn't "help ourselves" God would rush in to rescue us. IF we are His people. If you are one of the "Egyptians", you are going to be in heaps of trouble for coming after God's people.

Are you tired? Discouraged? Riddled with anxiety? This past year has sucked away your strength and you know that you are facing a brand new year that may hold more of the same or perhaps even worse? Perfect. You are EXACTLY the type of person Jesus is waiting to help.

There is no magic formula, no 12 step program, no self-help course, no amount of yoga that will solve all the problems and crisis' of your life. None that will heal a life and heart so broken that there just isn't another "try, try again" left in you.

"But I know something you don't know." (done in my child-like sing-song voice)

Jesus loves you. He is waiting for you. You CAN have an actual relationship with Him and it can start right now, wherever you are.

Time to find your strength in weakness, your joy in sorrow, your peace in the madness, your rest with Jesus.

"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7)

Hope you have a wonderful Sunday.

Speaking the Truth with love,

Always, Laura-Lee

FASHION: Uniquely Men

Just to divert myself for something fun to do I have started to design modest fashions for women. I have become SO tired and frustrated by this new wave of Modest Fashions. It seems they are equating "modest" with boring and frumpy. Haven't they heard that colors other than black, grey, and navy blue have been invented?

I'm taking a Donny and Marie approach. Do you remember that old show? They used to have a moment when they would each sing songs. Marie was a "little bit country" and Donny was a "little bit rock 'n roll". That has always been my approach to fashion, whether it was for the office, Church or just going out. I dressed modestly but always had a little sparkle, lace, leather accent, or pretty broach or flower. You get the idea. It's good to be modest, but it's also good to be unique. I want to express my faith, NOT join a cult!

I've also been looking into men's fashions too and happy to discover all the wonderful and special ways men are expressing themselves within the same confines of a suit jacket, tie, vest, and pocket-handkerchief. I grabbed some of the best images and made a short slide show. Only three minutes long. Hope you enjoy it and that it gives you men lots of ideas on how to express yourselves. After all, you are "fearfully and wonderfully made" Psalm 139.

And quite lovely to look at too, if I do say so myself. 😊

Love always, Laura-Lee

Once I have more things for women designed I'll start sharing them. I have a myriad of ideas, just not much time.

Uh. Maybe I should rethink using Donny and Marie as fashion examples.

Hey! Cut me some slack. I was only a little kid at the time. LL

FASHION: For the Hip Grandpa

I've recently started designing modest fashions. It has led me into a topic I've never explored in any depth before. Also, I'm learning more about men's fashions too. I am surprised and pleased to see how Senior men dress up and thought I would share some of the images I've come across. These are NOT my Grandpa's clothing.

MY Short video (under 3 minutes) at YouTube. And there is no annoying music or MY annoying voice. Just enjoy the images.

Just something for fun. You remember fun, don't you?

Love Always, Laura-Lee

MEMORIES: Grandma, Nazis and the Titanic

STILL ROOM

An odd memory has surfaced for me this week as I was watching a film called  THE 49th PARALLEL . It is based on a true story (though very loosely) from World War II about a group of Nazis who get trapped in Canada when their submarine is blown up. The survivors have to work their way to Vancouver from a remote trading post in Hudson's Bay to try and get back to Germany. It shows all the various Canadians they meet along the way including a group of German HutteritesAs I was watching this film I remembered something from my own recent past.

My paternal grandmother, just previous to World War II, received a letter from a law firm in Germany basically inviting her to either move back to Germany or become a covert agent for the Germans living right here in Canada. What's fascinating is that I received, somewhere between the years 2000 - 2005, in my mailbox a letter from a law firm in Germany. The next time I went to visit Mom I brought the letter with me because during her career she had read many different contracts from lawyers and I wanted her to have a look at it.  Because she has also seen the letter that her mother-in-law had received all those years back during World War II and because she understood legalese, she recognized it for exactly what it was. Of course, I chucked it out with a "That's weird. I wonder what they're up to?"

Now as I look into world events in a much deeper way in order to inform people for my Bible Prophecy blog, Dominion Comfort I now know what Germany was doing fifteen years ago and what they were laying the foundation for. You should know too.

Wakey, wakey, People. You are on the Titanic. Do you want to continue to rearrange the deck chairs or get into the lifeboat  while you still have the chance to do it?

Always, Laura-Lee

Laura-Lee's Personal Observations:

I don't want to contradict the EFB recommendations but giving pasta isn't a good idea. Neither are those pre-made cheap packages made up by the various stores to push their own stuff. Poor people can buy cheap items themselves. You should focus on healthy things with lots of nutrients that have a long shelf life.

Suggestions:

Canned items
Tuna, Ham, Chicken
Fruit
Soups (not just broth but full of good stuff)
Simulac/Baby Formula

Jars
Jams and Jellies
Peanut Butter
Spaghetti Sauce (with meat-lots of uses)
Baby Food (comes in little pouches now)

Kids Lunches
Fruit cups
Cereal Bars
Fruit Juice Boxes

Paper Products
Diapers,
Toilet Tissue
Feminine napkins (NOT Tampons)
 (Items desperately needed; always in short supply)

My Personal Favorites:

  • Cookies (oatmeal, digestives). Probably not a big surprise to you.
  • Box of Cereal (not all are just sugar and often you will find a "get one free" sale among the kajillion choices)
  • Chef-Boyardee Ravioli
  • Dried Scalloped or Mashed Potatoes
  • Spaghetti-O's
  • Corn Chips
  • Powdered Hot Chocolate
  • Popcorn (before it's popped)
  • Pudding Cups
  • Canned Tomatoes (often very inexpensive, healthy, many uses)
  • Cheesies
  • Cake/Cookie/Muffin Mixes (as long as they don't require a bunch of extra ingredients)
  • Powdered Milk (can be expensive but lasts forever, has many uses and can be made thinner in desperate times)
  • Please consider giving chocolate bars. As a child I sometimes went months without a chocolate bar. It costs little to you but means SO much to poor people!
  (I love healthy items that are always a welcomed TREAT too!)

Keep in mind:
  •  many poor people don't own a microwave.
  •  get items that are nutritious but keep for a long time (ie. dried potatoes)
  •  if its cheap for you to buy then it's something poor people can probably already afford too
  •  it feels good to give items both fun and nutritious (oatmeal cookies, popcorn)
Remember: if it's something that will keep on a shelf for a while and YOU would like it, so will others.

Laura-Lee's hints:
Watch for sales and coupons. (especially buy one get one free). They get the item, you feel good and you didn't have to pay any money. You are just using your shopping smarts.

Many times I've gone "grocery shopping for the Food Bank" armed with my list of "buy one get one free" items and various coupons that I've been keeping my eyes open for throughout the week. I place these items in one corner of my cart and have them bagged separately. On my way out the door I pop them into the Food Bank box.
More than once I had a couple of bags of primo items that cost me less than $10 OR didn't cost me any extra money at all.
So enjoy this creative and personal way of giving to a poor family. It can become quite an addictive way of volunteering your time to charity and easy to get your kids on-board too as they scout flyers and online for sales and coupons.

"The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."  (2 Corinthians 9:6-7)

I hope this helps.

Love, Laura-Lee

Satan's Ultimate Fate

DIALOGUE BETWEEN SATAN and ME

(Means more if you read out loud)

Satan. aka. The Beast:

"You have become a great nuisance to me. Almost an obsession. But everything comes to an end. We worship violence because violence means power and power crushes opposition. I tell you that power and strength and violence will rule the world."

Laura-Lee:

"Then why are you sweating? Are you afraid of something? May I say a few words for your enlightenment?

You will never rule the world because you are doomed.

Soon you will take the first step along a dark road from which there is no turning back. You will have to go on and on. From one madness to another. Leaving behind you a wilderness of misery and hatred. And still you will have to go on, because you will find no horizon and see no dawn until at last you are lost. Lost and destroyed.

 You are doomed, King of Murderers. And one day, sooner or later, you will remember my words.

But don't worry. I shall be back...

 We shall ALL be back."

~~~~~~~~
"I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself.  He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean.  On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:
'King of kings and Lord of lords.'
Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and his army. But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. The rest were killed with the sword coming out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh."
(Excerpts from Revelation 19)
My dialogue inspired from ending to story, Pimpernel Smith and while considering the devil's ultimate and eternal fate.
Now go watch Leslie Howard do his AMAZING/Inspiring version in the movie
A "What if ..." Prayer for Biden
As a writer and storyteller my whole life, you may suppose I have a very large and vivid imagination. But for the majority of my life it has been "vain imaginings" (as Paul calls them in Romans) because they served primarily myself. But once I turned even that part of myself over to God they took on a new purpose. I added to them the belief that there truly is nothing impossible for God to do and began to pray accordingly with a "bigness" I had never known before and in a way that I think delights God. At least I have concluded that considering how many times He has not only answered them but answered them even BIGGER and more unusual and unexpected than the most extravagant ways I pictured them in my mind.
Through the years I have encountered so many people who gave a testimony about coming to Jesus after not being merely indifferent to Him but absolutely HATING Him and living their lives that way.
And then once saved by Him and knowing Him personally became instantaneously transformed. Transformed to the point of it being viewed as ridiculous insanity by those who witnessed their new ways. So now, whenever I see someone who seems so completely against Jesus I get a little, sly smile across my face. I begin to imagine what their lives would suddenly be like if Jesus stepped in unexpectedly and did what I call "the big snatch" as He rips them away from satan.
Keeping those things in mind, I present to you, Joe Biden.
My American Brothers and Sisters are considerably freaked out as they continue to imagine Biden as "President Biden". But imagine, if you will, this scenario with me:
Joe Biden becomes the next democratic President of the United States of America. Consider all the things he has planned, all the things he has done to get there, all the people he owes favors to, the expectations of the Democratic party, etc. Suddenly realizing the true magnitude of what he has just been handed he decides to turn to prayer. Jesus convicts through the Holy Spirit, Joe yields, and The Big Snatch takes place. And I mean he becomes a hardcore follower of Jesus Christ and commits to living out his term and his life seeking God and doing EXACTLY what Jesus tells him to do.
Whooee!!! I'm enjoying just thinking about it.
The Apostle Paul absolutely hated Christians too. He hunted them down and threw them into prisons. While still a young man, he held the jackets of those who stoned and killed the first Christian martyr, Stephen. All because he was a Jew among Jews, which he took massive pride in. Yet, of all people, Jesus chose to make him the apostle to the ... wait for it, GENTILES!  I LOVE IT!
God has set a "president" 😉 by doing this many times and He certainly is capable of doing it, being omnipotent and "omniloving". He went to the cross for Joe too. I suppose what you need to ask yourself is how big is your faith, how big is your imagination, and are you willing to back it up with some big, "what if" prayers of your own.
Just something for you to consider.
Speaking the truth with love,
Always, Laura-Lee
Paul in his letter to Timothy
"I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—  for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.
 And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle—I am telling the truth, I am not lying—and a true and faithful teacher of the Gentiles."
Letter to My American Friends (Before They Vote)
My Dear American Friends,
Soon you will go to the polls and select your leader for the next four years. As a Canadian, I have had the privilege of watching you closely for more than fifty years. Even before the internet or CNN or the ability for a broadcast to reach into Europe and the rest of the world I watched what you were doing. It may have been through your TV shows or from my neighbours who had come here to escape going to Vietnam but I have seen you. So I can't help but look on you fondly and with concern. But at the same time I have the perspective of an outsider, because Canadians are very different in the way we view things and do things, although we may look and sound alike.
Before you stands the most important election you have faced in your lifetimes and I have been wondering what I can say to you that will help without being just another yelling voice. I found it in the words of your former president, Ronald Reagan.
 If you fear something someone says you have two choices. You either silence them or you depict them as a fool or lunatic. I have seen Reagan's memory so trampled that he has become nothing more than someone to do an impression of in order to get a laugh at a party. But he was a clever and wise man who loved his country, sought to make a difference, and was able to look into the future to see what the consequences of actions would be.
In a person's final words, whether from a deathbed or the oval office, a person realizes what truly matters, puts aside debates and arguments, and cuts to the chase. In President Reagan's farewell address to the nation after two terms in office (almost the entire decade of the 1980s), he hits on two points I also wish to emphasize as I myself look upon my last days on this dark and troubled planet.
Firstly, it is found in the phrase, "informed patriotism". As you make your choice in November make SURE you know the facts. Don't simply accept what someone says or what you hear in a video, even if it is masquerading as an independent news broadcast.
Secondly, in the phrase, "We the people ...". It's not only what the United States was built on but is the entire foundation of democracy. It is when the PEOPLE tell the Government what to do not the Government telling the people. It's not enough to put someone into power and then leave it to them. You must make sure you hold them accountable every step of the way
Now I want to share with you a twenty-minute video that you need to hear before you vote. It is from a man who was nobody's fool. He knew that "as long as America is good, America will be great" and that America cannot be good unless it is a "nation under God."
And from me personally, I'd like to add ...
You may feel very afraid and alone right now because you are isolated and surrounded by hatred, chaos, and madness, but you're not. Not only are you connected to millions of other Americans who are faced with the hardships and decisions that you are, but also the love and prayers of your Brothers and Sisters in Jesus in your own country and those of us from around the world. But most importantly you are cared for and watched over by Almighty God who has made you this promise,
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." (Deuteronomy 31:6)
So love your country and your God by taking the time to discover what each candidate stands for, use your gifts of reason and common sense to see where their beliefs will lead and take the time to ask God who HE would have you vote for. I know He will answer you if you take the time to listen. And always remember that nothing comes as a surprise to God. Though the world may crumble and fall around you, His love and word stands firm forever.
"But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever,
  the purposes of his heart through all generations.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
    the people he chose for his inheritance."
 Psalm 33:11-12
The Rapture Rap
"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
Therefore encourage one another with these words." (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18)
(Add a funky beat and YOU rap it too. Out loud. LL)
 God's Word is clear
We will be
Raptured outta here
The Lord is near
No need to fear
Gonna be
Raptured outta here
Saying the "IF" ... Prayer
 The first Bible verse I ever read was printed in the inside cover of the Bible given to me as a Christmas gift from Mom years before I became a Christian, when I was only nine years old in 1975. It is something I didn't really understand.
"Perfect love casts out fear." 1 John 4:18
Forty-five years later I have experienced this love too many times to recount or even remember. I didn't know how it worked or who had this "perfect love" or how I could get at it. I only knew that I was riddled with fear and I desperately wanted it to be true and hoped someday I would discover this "perfect love" and leave all my fear behind.
That hope was enough to set me on a path to find it. And find it I did. Three years later when someone told me that Jesus had this perfect love for me and I asked Jesus that "IF" He existed and "IF" it was true to please show it to me. I was so tired of being afraid. I felt like I was an old lady with it, even though I hadn't even reached the age of twelve yet.
And now I will "pay it forward" and tell YOU simply this. It IS true and some of the greatest lives start with the "IF" prayer. You need such tiny faith to start you off. Only enough to give Jesus a chance. Only enough to talk to Him. You don't have to understand it. You don't even have to be certain He exists. You only have to have enough faith to speak to Him. To acknowledge Him enough to ask for help. He will respond. In fact, this is exactly the opportunity He's been waiting for. He will never force Himself upon you. But the moment you take a chance on Him just enough to speak to Him, He WILL show up. It's not my promise. It's His.
Therefore the Lord longs to be gracious to you,
And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. (Isaiah 30:18)
Talk to Jesus right now. Whoever you are and wherever you are. It is my prayer you will do this. You will take a chance and say the "IF" prayer and see Jesus respond. It is SO past time to dump your fears and start really living.
Always, Laura-Lee
Final Days Watch: Week beginning October 13th
 New Weekly Feature of what we should keep our eyes open for in the coming seven days.
"FAITH OVER FEAR" Watch
(Watch. What to WATCH for. Get it?)
I did a new Google Alert for "Russia, Iran, Turkey" because I know according to the Bible that the invasion of Israel described in detail in Ezekiel 38 is (one of the things) next "on deck" in these Final Days. Checking my email I got a massive list from Google Alerts concerning the combination of these three countries and something called the "Astana Process" which I have never heard of before.
"The “Astana format” was officially launched in January 2017 to formalize Russia’s dialogue with Turkey and Iran, who back a number of the armed groups involved on the ground in Syria."
Syria is involved in a civil war right now and will also be involved in the Ezekiel 38 invasion of Israel. In all the world chaos what we need to be watching for is anything that unites these countries and demonstrates they are suffering an unstable economy. It is them wanting to steal what Israel has that motivates the invasion, NOT over religion, culture or territory.
"Have you come to plunder? Have you gathered your hordes to loot, to carry off silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods and to seize much plunder?'" (Ezekiel 38)
On the flip side, we need to watch for anything that shows that Israel is safe and continues to be economically well off. Which they currently are thanks to the massive amount of oil they recently found and the Abraham Accords peace treaty. But the stage is already set for this invasion.
Plus, we continue to watch for:
The destruction of Damascus
The beginning of building the Temple in Jerusalem, and
The Rapture of the Church
All of which are all set to go. This means nothing else needs to take place before they take place, but also because the other signs point to them being imminent.
As for us, I'm looking to set up a blog that will deal with these events specifically and not in my personal blog.
Also, I'm hoping we can begin Zoom meetings soon because I think we ALL have information and insights to share with EACH OTHER, as opposed to me rattling off information and you lapsing into a coma of despair.
And I am working on a Timeline Chart that will illustrate the main events to give us a foundation. Then we will insert the world events and various enlightening Scriptures as they are made known to us.
Now you see why I think everyone should have a Bible. This is a huge topic and now that we are here and the events spoken of thousands of years ago are being fulfilled quickly and more than one at a time you will be referring to it often. But it's not so complex that we can't understand them. On the contrary. God has informed us ahead of time because He knows we can understand and wants us to. He wants us to be prepared so we won't be scared.
 It's also good to take care of yourselves in practical ways too. Eat right, get lots of rest, and divert yourself from all the madness with something you enjoy. As I keep reminding my cousin, who lives and loves to help others, "We can't help anyone if we are tired, burned-out wrecks."
So "watch out" for yourselves and know that I am continuing to remember you in my daily prayers. And I could definitely use some from you too.
Send me an email if you feel so inclined and sign up to Follow by Email if you don't want to miss future posts. (The information to do that is in the right column.)
The future may not seem very rosy right now but we CAN get through it in a good way if we take it day by day and step by step, uphold each other, and focus on Jesus.
"Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart."
  (Hebrews 12:2-3)
With Love, Laura-Lee
