Knock Knock

 RELAX❗️I'm not about to tell you one of my silly jokes.

I was just remembering that when I was growing up we used to have a LOT more people come knocking on our doors.

We had men selling everything from  vacuum cleaners to encyclopedias to hair brushes to children's portraits (they had their photo studio in the back of a van parked outside).

The Avon Lady would come and give tips and sample to any ladies in the home.

I remember we often got nicely dressed young men telling us we needed to hear the "saving gospel". Then told us in order to be "saved" (whatever that was) you had to read the book of MORMON and join THEIR Church exclusively.

When I was very little I saw this picture hanging on a relatives wall and wished that the nice man would come to knock on my door, but He never did. Year after year I waited but He never came.

But He snuck in another way. Through the TV Show "100 Huntley Street", which started in Canada in 1978. The first time I watched it and the host, David Mainse, told me about Jesus and told me I needed to "make Jesus the Lord of my life", I went for it.

And went from "Darkness to Light and from Death to Life".

Eight years later I met Rev. Mainse at the 100 Huntley Street "Pavilion of Promise" at Expo 86 in Vancover, BC. He would stand outside in the summer heat for hours shaking hands with every person who came out of the Pavilion.

When it was my turn I initially Chickened Out from saying anything because I was so shy and he is a HUGE man, but he bent down and looked me right in the eye and thanked me for coming. I found my tongue and courage and said the exact thing back to him.

"No, no, Reverend Mainse. Thank YOU for coming."

He looked at me puzzled. I continued. 

"I became a Christian because you came into my home to tell me about Jesus 8 years ago when I watched 100 Huntley Street when I was only 11 years old. In fact my whole family got Saved that way." 

And I pointed to my older brother standing behind me and introduced him too."

Well, didn't Reverend Mainse make a ripe old fuss about us (although I'm sure MANY people were telling him the same thing).

He actually called his Daughter and Son in Law, Bruce and Elaine Stacey, who were standing nearby, over to meet us.

I actually got to tell them that Jesus had so changed my life I had just graduated from attending Vancouver Christian Secondary School for 5 years.

When I was in bed that summer night in 1986 mulling over my day with Jesus, which is something I have done for the past 48 years, I was thinking back on all the dark years of violence and turmoil when I would just stare out the window longing for someone, ANYONE, to rescue me.

But NOBODY ever came to my door in all those long, desperate, scary years of waiting to tell me about Jesus or invite me to Church.

I guess all you Christians were too busy...

Or just didn't care.

TODAY is my BORN-AGAIN BIRTHDAY❗️

It was 48 years ago, in 1978, one month before my twelfth (biological) birthday (Oops❗️🫢 Accidentally outed my Christian and Biological ages on the internet again) that I handed my entire life over to Jesus  in an act of sheer desperation and (as I've been testifying ever since) "stepped from Darkness into Light and from Death into Life".

"Oh, How I love to tell the story of Jesus my Lord!" 🎶🤗

 How He scooped me up and miraculously prevented me from killing myself, which I had made up my mind to do on my way to school that day by hurling myself into oncoming rush hour traffic on Como Lake Ave in Coquitlam, British Columbia (which is a suburb of Vancouver).

I have Grown Up in Evange-Land (my name for the subculture of the Evangelical Church) and have witnessed MANY things in these passing decades. I am particularly dismayed to see evil and darkness èncroach upon it in an exponential way. I'm sure many of you feel the same way. 

As we scroll Social Media, live out our daily lives and pick up our daily crosses we will discover there are many horrible things the CHRISTIAN Church is doing that is so heinous that we couldn't have even imagined it would get this widespread and this horrible.

But I urge you, instead of merely shaking your head at others, to consider our own roles in all of this. Each one of us are part of it too and adding our own sinful actions and attitudes to the Church as a collective.

In Romans, Chapter 12   we read a description of how the Christian church is ultimately meant to be lived out and SOMEDAY, upon Christ's return. we will exist and FLOURISH as His Body in that way.

It's always good to look back (especially on our birthdays) to see how far we've come.

It's also good to appreciate the present moment and seek the good in it, but it is ultimately the FUTURE we should always keep our eyes on.

For those of us who actively follow Jesus, there are wonderful days of God's promises fulfilled (that are also way beyond even my BIGGEST imagining) still to come.

But the Bible describes some of it so that, in hard times, we can look up and see beyond them and "this present darkness" (Ephesians 6:12).

God will create a whole NEW Heavens and NEW Earth and construct a city for us to live in called the New Jerusalem. 

And this isn't just some spiritual, la-dee-da, Pie in the Sky place (although we're told it floats), but God actually gives us the specs for it.

"The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls. 

 The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia in length, (about 1,400 Miles or 2,200 Km) and as wide and high as it is long. 

The angel measured the wall using human measurement, and it was 144 cubits thick. (200 Feet or 65 Meters)"

But the best part of this is when John, (who this is being revealed to) records...

"I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 

 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp."

Rev. 21 

So when you are feeling discouraged, frustrated, maybe even out and out angry by the things thrust daily in our faces, take a pause to (quantum) leap-frog past the tribulations here and now and "The 7-Year Tribulation" yet to happen and have a look at how things soon will be through God's lense of  Revelation 21.

Future Days worth hoping and waiting for.

Where Are the Answers in Genesis Network PEDOPHILES & Sexual Predators Now❓️

 

As I previously stated, the para church organization, Answers in Genesis, with leader Ken Ham  is a CULT❗️

As with most Cults, eventually the nasty truth that's been hidden under the surface for years starts coming out. It has taken a long time with this cult because it hides behind Creation Science and owns several large American Theme Park attractions, including the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter in Northern Kentucky, which they use as a front.

It is also vast in size and influence, which involves a large network of hundreds of Churches, dozens of schools and Universities, financial ties to many local businesses, tax breaks from the Kentucky Government and deep connections in local law enforcement agencies.

 PLUS, Ken Ham has personal friendships with influencers at the highest levels of American Government, like Speaker of the House of Congress, Mike Johnson, who is a long time personal friend of Ken Ham's (and a former employee).

So it's a miracle that these cases of Sexual Abuse have seen the light of day at all.

The perpetrators are quietly arrested, charged and convicted in small, county courtrooms and Answers in Genesis carries on WITHOUT ANSWERS, explanations, interruptions or  comments, as if all is just Business as usual.

I'm here to highlight a few important facts that need to be examined more closely.

The FACTS❗️

Christian group, TrueSong, with members Michael Howard, Dusty Barrett, Jay Arview and Jarrett Grubbs was formed in 2022  BY Answers in Genesis to take on the particular role of being their Resident Worship Leaders at the ArK Encounter and Creation Museum.

At that time Michael Howard had already started his long term role as Child abuser and carried on with it during his time at AiG.

Michael Howard goes under investigation for his crimes in 2025 and quietly leaves AiG.

In April, 2025, Jarrett Grubb also leaves TrueSong and takes a new job as the YOUTH Pastor at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Lebanon, Tennessee (also part of AiG network).

January, 2026 Michael Howard is convicted on 28 counts of Sexual Assault and Sodomy in a (small) courtroom in Boone county and sentenced to 15 years in prison (up for parole in 12.5).

CEDARVILLE UNIVERSITY FACTS❗️

John Tarwater professor at (Christian) Cedarville University in Ohio was recently arrested and charged with 8 counts of "FELONY Abuse".

He was arraigned in a (small) courtroom in Greene County and he was assigned $1 Million bail and now awaits his trial.

My Questions ❓️

🔴Why has Ken Ham remained completely silent on this matter?

🔴Why does Cedarville University President Thomas White remain completely silent on this matter?

🔴Why are the parents of the 7,265 Students at Cedarville University not demanding further investigations and assurances to keep their children safe,  but remain silent on the matter?

(I'm detecting a pattern)🤔

🔴Why are parents still currently submitting their children to events at the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter, including worship by Truesong, which now carries on with the new addition of Todd Tilghman as a three member group, without any assurances for their children's well-being?

And ultimately the two BIG questions that keep me awake at night,

"Where will it all end?"

and 

"WHO is enduring abuse at the hands of someone in the Answers in Genesis network right now?"

CONCLUSION.

Let me make this super simple.

If you run an organization or company and you discover you have  long-term employees who have been (apparently) raping 10 year olds and Sodomizing teenage boys, I don't think it's out of line to expect the Boss to address the situation. How much more so if it's an organization that is supposed to be representing Jesus Christ and "upholding Biblical Authority".

MEASLES❓️❗️ (Don't Panick)

 

We are starting to hear rumblings of MEASLES being detected here and there, and in this case, us older folks are much better off.

I was a Canadian TEENAGER in the 1980s and the German MEASLES Vacinations for the GIRLS in Canada 🇨🇦 was mandatory, because if a woman got them during early pregnancy it caused deformities in babies (back when people considered babies a BLESSING and wanted them to arrive healthy).

Then the following year all us Canadian gals received the second round of German MEASLES shots.

Here's the information on what standing that puts us in.

Also, if you actually have HAD MEASLES you are even better off because your body developed a natural immunity to them and you won't get them again. Like having Mumps or Chicken Pox, once you suffer through it once, you're safe for life.

But, 

if you're not over 55 years old or

 you've never had the MEASLES or

 you can't remember if you've had them or 

you can't remember if you were vaccinated against them or

you're just generally freaking out with an "Oh no. Here we go again" 😲 feeling, 

what should you do❓️

The answer is simple.

If you have MEASLES antibodies in your system this is 100% verifiable with a blood test.

AND there is already a REGULAR vaccination for it that WORKS❗️The kind of vaccination that gives you a wee bit 🤏 of MEASLES (MMR Vaccine) and your body develops natural antibodies.

Don't let anyone talk you into messing with your DNA or RNA sequences, even if they say there's a new "modern" way to get vaccinated that's much better. The SAFE "old" way works 💯. Definitely a case where you want to "Kick it Old School". 

But if you have concerns, take prompt action, put your fears to rest so they won't get the better of you and you feel rushed into decisions you are uncomfortable with.

And when the Government and Media are trying to stir you up, keep in mind there are already HUGE amounts of the population who are already immune and won't be spreading it around.

Plus, we've had DECADES to study how MEASLES and their vaccinations have played out over people's lifetimes and this is verifiable by tons of data.

That's why I'm telling you NOW, because the Narrative on this may quickly change on these Facts depending on how the Higher-ups decide to play us. 🤨

So take a deep. Don't be afraid. We'll be okay. 🫠
