… shaming older people into complacency by saying we just don't understand the younger generations, are freaked out by modern technology and don't understand the benefits of Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality!
I understand more about this than he will ever know.
I understand how VR directly stimulates the Hypothalamus. How it alters our brain waves. How it alters our body chemistry. How it modifies our behavior in a VERY short time. How it sucks away our ability for rational and independent thought.
What I also understand, along with everybody else over the age of forty, is what LIFE apart from the Internet is like, how to live in the REAL world and what true FREEDOM means and all the huge sacrifices given to protect it !
If Martyn wishes to live out his life in VR, that is his right, but his intention to hook people into his own “Christian” Metaverse under the guise of HomeSchooling and Bible Teaching in order to indoctrinate people into the “Answers in Genesis” Cult is NOT going unopposed.
