No. It’s NOT one of my bizarre jokes. I wish it was. Since I am at a loss for words, at the moment, I'll let Ken Ham and Tim Chaffey give you their rationalizations in their own words.
Okay. Now Brace yourself for Ken's version of the truth.
Okay. So it is their intention to build a replica of the Tower of Babel next to the Ark Encounter in order to "boldly confront racist" ideologies.
Ken (Ham) is telling us that it is fine and dandy to rebuild Babel because he has completely different motives than the original builders.
"so that we may make a name for ourselves;" (was their reasoning and motivation) (Genesis 11:4)
Let's take a look at Ken's motives. 🤔
He says it's to be an example of what NOT to do. Also it is to "confront racist ideologies". Not to COMBAT them, just to "confront" them. (whatever that vague term means🤷♀️)
He's spending MILLIONS in Donations and MILLIONS in Tax Payers money via Government funded subsidies to build Babel as a Cautionary example of what NOT to do. 🤨

Ken's motives are EXACTLY the same motives as the original builders. So that EVERYONE will know the name of KEN HAM.
With one added benefit. Ken is going to add even MORE MILLIONS of dollars to the already many of MILLIONS he currently has.

Those of you who contacted AiG to express your indignation have made an impact. They have put their PR strategy to push their PRO Tower of Babel propaganda on hold and started hiding their Babel building (even though construction is going full steam ahead next to the "world famous" Ark Encounter) from the public by doing other projects (Welcome Center, Eden Teaching Center, Jerusalem model, Biblical Plants Arboretum - the excuse changes depending on whom you're talking to and when).
Therefore you need to also tell them on their Contact Form
"I will not support AiG until you come out and publicly state you will stop building the Tower of Babel".
If you have already sent them a message don't hesitate to send them another to include this updated statement. It's okay to be an annoying,,opinionated Christian about this because the stakes are so DESPERATELY High. (no joke intended).

For some time I've been pondering how Ken will build such a massive thing without the whole world knowing about it (and having a fit) until he can spread enough proganda and get more people on his side. I thought, "He's going to need a 'front' for all the construction".
Well, here it is!❗️ Something he is referring to as the "Welcome Center and Eden Teaching Center".
