The Easter Grave Robber

 

With these words, Jesus breathed His last breath and there was darkness and the veil in the Temple, closing off God’s presence in the Holy of Holies, was torn from top to bottom.

Through Jesus, God now accessible to EVERYBODY.

 "It was now about noon, and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon,  for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two.  Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last." (Luke 23:44-46)

"After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst!”  Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth. So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit." (John 19:28-30)

A dark day but

Sunday on the way

Looked like the End but

Jesus comes back again

Followers cried but

Death finally Died!

Ken Ham with Runny Eggs (Can We Prove Christianity is True WITHOUT the Bible?)

 

Once again Ken Ham & his half-truths have egged me on. 

Forever reliving his glory days, Ken just released last week this old video from about twenty years ago. In this almost 30 minute talk he says we need to "stand on the authority of God's Word" and do all that we can to demonstrate that the  Bible makes sense and is backed up by science.

Yes. Yes. & Yes. 

However, ☝️the original question is,

"Can We Prove Christianity is True WITHOUT the Bible?"

to which Ken concludes (in a round about and convaluted way) a big "NO".

I disagree. (not a big shocker)

We AB-SOO-LUTELY can prove Christianity is True, with or without the Bible. Jesus IS the Truth and He proves this ALL the time.❗️❗️❗️

Do you have any idea how many people there are in the world right now who are dedicated Christians, some lingering in prisons and being tortured for their faith in Jesus, who have never SEEN a Bible, let alone own one?

Just like Saul (who later became Paul) on the road to Damascus or John on Patmos or millions of Christians in Communist countries, they have a personal ENCOUNTER with JESUS  himself, whether physically or by being filled with the Holy Spirit.

How many people throughout the past two thousand years became Christians without Bible knowledge I do not know, but I DO know I WAS ONE OF THEM. 

I knew Jesus was real and my love for Him was thorough and genuine BEFORE I had read and studied the Bible.

So be vigilant against faulty teachers that don't tell you the WHOLE truth, come out of your ivory, Christian, towers and Comfort Zones and become aware of the world at large, pray for your Brothers and Sisters in Christ who are enduring great hardships for loving Jesus and be EXTREMELY grateful you have access to a Bible.

"Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

(John 14:6)

(And for goodness sake, STOP listening to Ken Ham and all the pseudo "experts" at Answers in Genesis.)

Flat Earth Theory Simplified

 

Basic depiction of how most Flat-Earthers view the Earth

I first encountered Flat Earth as a Theory about 15 years ago and did a deep investigation into it and found some very surprising things.

I started out not merely skeptical but considered those who believed it as obviously ignorant and deluded, but was surprised to find them quite the opposite. They are people who think systematically, don't just take things at face value and require proof. 

It starts with a very simple experiment that just about anybody can do these days. If you have ever lived near an ocean or any flat ground that goes on for a long way, you are accustomed to what it looks like to see a car or boat appear to sink away from view the further away it gets. The reason for this, modern science tells us, is because the earth is a round ball.

However, now with modern cameras, if you look through a Zoom lense you can still see the ship or vehicle clearly, so the conclusion is it's merely an optical illusion. 

Attached to the Flat Earth theory is the belief that NASA staged the first moon landing and has been feeding us lies ever since. Upon examining the footage of Neil Armstrong's first walk on the moon (many times) I realize they have some valid points and questions, such as, 

"why is the flag waving when there is no wind on the moon?" and 

"why do the Astronauts cast more than one shadow when they were supposed to have only one light source? The sun."

Secondly, many pictures of the earth (as a globe) taken from space have been proven to be either enhanced or just plain painted. So the moment you start embracing the idea that the Government and it's science arm, NASA are lying to us, even on just a few things, you stop trusting anyone and anything about everything.

I have no problem believing NASA and the American Government staged the first moon landing. In fact, I might have done the same thing. Remember America was in a "Space Race" with communist Russia (known at the time as the Soviet Union) and they seemed to be losing to the Soviets. This was unacceptable to the stability of peace of the world because both America and the Soviet Union had Nuclear Arsenals. If the Communists won and got "superiority in space", the free world would have been in heaps of trouble. AMERICA HAD TO WIN!

I believe they eventually did walk on the moon but the first time it may have been staged. It certainly seems to point that way.

Not knowing who to trust to tell them the truth, people turned to the Bible for God's Truth to stabilize them. They read with new eyes verses like,

"And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the FOUR CORNERS of the Earth." (Isaiah 11:12)

Also,

"He sits enthroned above the CIRCLE of the earth,

    and its people are like grasshoppers.

He stretches out the heavens like a CANOPY,

    and spreads them out like a tent to live in." (Isaiah 40:22) Emphasis mine 

And many, many more such verses. I have barely touched on the mounds of evidence they have. There is a very good reason this is a huge movement and continues to grow exponentially, especially amongst Christians. 

But it was one person being interviewed that made me truly pause, take time to think this through and seek the Lord as to whether this theory could possibly have substance. He was the Leader of a very large group of Flat-Earthers in the UK and stated that he wished he could go back in time, unknow what he had discovered and stop believing in a Flat Earth theory. Now he trusted nobody and found no joy in Creation because he believed that there was a conspiracy of lies and he didn't even trust his Fellow Believers anymore. That's when I realized this was truly a trick of Satan.

Also, because of something I learned in 1971, when I was only five years old. (Oops!🙊 Accidentally outed my age on the Internet again) My father was an airplane engineer and also a pilot and I saw him plotting out a Flight Plan one day and asked, "Dad, why are your Flight Plans always curved? Wouldn't it be faster to just fly straight there?"

"I can't, Laura-Lee, because the Earth is a ball, like your brother's globe." Then he demonstrated that even though a Flight Plan looks curved on a flat piece of paper, it's actually a straight line when you're flying to places around the planet.

Is NASA and our Governments lying to us? I don't think that's a hard one to dispute after living through the COVID Pandemic.

Does the Bible say the earth is flat? For every verse that paints a poetic word picture that sounds like it is, there are more that back up the fact that we are on a circular sphere. 

As to the "sinking beneath the horizon" experiment? It actually is only partially an optical illusion. With a Zoom camera lense you can see what your naked eye can't, however, if you have an even more powerful lense (the kind not available to just us regular folks) a vehicle or ship will eventually dip beneath the horizon. You have to keep in mind how huge the earth is and it takes a GREAT deal of distance before its curvature will affect what can be seen.

This has been my simple attempt to educate you on this vast topic, to bring patience and understanding amongst Christians who hold fast to God's Word when faced with the confusing arguments of modern science and to bring peace of mind to the members of this movement who are reeling from being lied to.

Whatever you believe, keep in mind that God knows how He created things and someday we will know the full truth too. Seek Jesus, who is not a Lord of confusion and worry but the Prince of PEACE and rediscover the joy of being out in God's wonderful Creation like you did when you were a child.

Be comforted by the indisputable knowledge that God STILL has "the Whole World in His hands". And not just the world but the Universe and Eternity too.

"The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,

    the world, and all who live in it;

 for he founded it on the seas

    and established it on the waters." (Psalm 24:1-2)

Answers in Genesis: A Symphony of Errors

 

 

I watched ALL the LIVE STREAMED "Living in Babylon" events (a completely Deja Vu moment for Australians who saw essentially the same thing when Martyn did his "Living in Babylon" Tour when he was "the Boss of the Australian Christian Lobby") and there were so many Biblical errors I could highlight but I have decided to just briefly focus on one. 

Martyn Iles, now CEO of  "Answers in Genesis", told us to live with integrity like "modern day Daniels". Then he quoted the pertinent Commandment, "Thou Shalt Not Lie".

But, um, that isn't actually one of the Ten Commandments, is it Martyn?😏

Which you might have known if you read the WHOLE Bible and didn't just rehash the first 11 chapters of Genesis, the first 6 chapters of Daniel and Romans chapter 1 over and over. 😵‍💫  The Ten Commandments are "kinda" a big deal to God, Martyn, so maybe you should read them at some point, along with the other 90% of the Bible you are ignoring, like the history of the Jewish People and Bible Prophecy.

We need to stop blindly accepting whatever somebody tells us because they are good-looking, sound nice, can spout out a bunch of pseudo-science and act like they know what they are talking about.

Read the ENTIRE Bible for yourselves and DON'T  BE  DECEIVED!😵‍💫

I would have completely dumped Answers in Genesis a LOOOONG time ago, but I am driven on by their MILLIONS of dedicated, Worldwide Followers who never question anything they say, Share their videos by the THOUSANDS and continually leave reams of comments that endlessly thank them for "speaking sound Biblical truth" or just type "Amen❗"

Pray for these people with me that they will head to their Bibles, heed God's Word and learn…

Time to cut to the chase, Martyn!

You do not merely work for Answers in Genesis, you are the LEADER of it.

You are rebuilding the Tower of Babel and have dedicated the remainder of your life, TENS of Millions of dollars and THOUSANDS of your AiG, Zombie followers to help you create your own personal AI controlled, 4D Metaverse with your ultimate goal to have everyone in the world hooked into it in order to make money, gain power and to "make a name for yourself".

You have deluded yourself into believing that you are doing it for Jesus when you have actually become a stench in the nostrils of the Lord God Almighty.

You either stop what you're doing and walk away from this evil or be prepared to "reap the whirlwind", Mr. Iles,.

You have been warned!

PS. You need to seriously start heeding the counsel of the elder Christians in your personal life (the ones NOT on the AiG payroll) instead of looking at everyone over the age of fifty with disdain.

They may not be fond of drums, don't spend hours per day scanning Social Media and do not view their lives through a smartphone

 BUT they have spent their lives walking around  in the REAL world (not merely on the Internet) and they know WAY more than you give them credit for.
