I'm in a unit in the hospital which is for people who aren't acutely ill but can't just be simply discharged.
The patients here are seniors with varying degrees of dementia and people of all ages suffering brain damage from injuries (a few have mobility problems like myself).
I roll around in a wheelchair talking to people who are lined up in the hallway, restrained in chairs while wearing briefs (diapers). Last night a lady dropped her Teddy Bear (which is like a security blanket to her) and couldn't bend down to pick it up. I rolled up and picked it off the floor, gave back into her arms and said, "Hold tight to your friend now."
Today I rolled past her again this morning and asked her how she was feeling. She responded,
"You're such a nice lady. I love you. I really love you!" and started crying.
Another time I brought a box of Kleenex to a man with a spinal injury who was stuck in bed and couldn't move.
He asked me (seriously), "Are you an angel?" (and he doesn't have any cognitive problems)
Picking up a Teddy bear and getting a box of Kleenex.
That's it.
But to people in dark places and desperate circumstances it takes very LITTLE to make a HUGE impact. Like people dying of thirst, just a small taste of the Living Water (that only comes from Jesus) can change their lives and Eternal destiny.
This may sound mean and UN-Christian but ...
if it feels like you are banging your head against a wall trying to tell people about Jesus and they just don't want to hear it, then move on to someone else. 👉
There are 7 BILLION people on this planet and many of them WANT to hear about Jesus because they are living in darkness.
People in Western countries have access to Bibles (free from any app store) oodles of Sermons, Bible Studies and videos about Jesus. If you move on to someone else they can still learn about Jesus ON THEIR OWN.
But many, many people don't even know Jesus is a real person but think He's just a swear word.
Be Jesus's servant and call the "poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame" and leave the invited Guests and their
lame-o excuses to Jesus to deal with. 🤨

The Parable of the Great Banquet
15 When one of those at the table with him heard this, he said to Jesus, “Blessed is the one who will eat at the feast in the kingdom of God.”
16 Jesus replied: “A certain man was preparing a great banquet and invited many guests. 17 At the time of the banquet he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited, ‘Come, for everything is now ready.’
18 “But they all alike began to make excuses. The first said, ‘I have just bought a field, and I must go and see it. Please excuse me.’
19 “Another said, ‘I have just bought five yoke of oxen, and I’m on my way to try them out. Please excuse me.’
20 “Still another said, ‘I just got married, so I can’t come.’
21 “The servant came back and reported this to his master. Then the owner of the house became angry and ordered his servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame.’
22 “‘Sir,’ the servant said, ‘what you ordered has been done, but there is still room.’
23 “Then the master told his servant, ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full.
24 I tell you, not one of those who were invited will get a taste of my banquet.’”
