Christians admire a person who preaches a good sermon or writes a good book or leads a nice church, they idolize them and then all their objectivity goes out the window and they follow them without question. We hand our vulnerable little ones over to them, they take them into secret places, sexually abused them and then frighten them into silence.
And because we don't question suspicious behavior, require transparency and demand accountability, these crimes have continued to spread, unchecked, exponentially within our church leadership, like a wave of evil sludge.
There is no such thing as Secret or Behind Closed Doors meetings in Christian churches.
