Narcissists never accept Correction or Criticism. If you even hint that they may be wrong they will use the Bible as a weapon against you to put you back in your place.

Scold you for Being Divisive.
They will quote to you Scriptures about “unity within the Body of Christ” and “love amongst Brothers and Sisters in Christ” to make you feel guilty for stirring up waves.

Tell you it is your Christian duty to Submit to Authority in the same manner you submit to Jesus.
“Children obey your parents.” (Ephesians 6)
“Wives submit to your husbands.” (Ephesians 5)
Don't protest against anything but “Submit to governing authorities”. (Romans 13)
Excessive emphasis on your Sinfulness,
Unrighteousness, and constantly hammering at you about your need for Repentance.
But they will not balance it with the fact you have been completely forgiven of your sins and there is “now no condemnation in Christ Jesus”. (Romans 8:1)
Unbalanced use of Scriptures in general.
They will not encourage you to read the “whole counsel of God” (Acts 20) but will Cherry-Pick their favorite Bible verses that they will be constantly repeating. They will be fixated on only one or two specific books of the Bible, which they rarely break out of.
They will INTERPRET the Bible and what God is saying for you.
They won't have a Bible open in front of them.
They may not give you the exact reference but merely the book or person who wrote as in “Paul writes in Ephesians”.
They will quote it very quickly and tell you to “look it up for yourselves later” knowing that most people won't.
Your biggest protection against being duped and manipulated is to have a personal relationship with Jesus, speak to Him directly, and read your Bible DAILY
