Mary’s troubled daughter had talked about her changing sexual identity before, but when she announced at age 16 that she was a transgender boy, it seemed to come out of the blue.

Even so, a doctor later wrote her a prescription for testosterone after a pair of 15-minute appointments, the mother says. Within months, the teenager had also had a double mastectomy. She was now a trans male.

But Mary says her child’s long-standing depression and anxiety only worsened. And last year the young woman made a stunning admission to her mother: even as she was being wheeled into the operating room to have her breasts removed, she was having doubts about her decision.

Now the 21-year-old is “detransitioning,” reverting to her original female identity. And Mary is part of a nascent movement calling for brakes to be placed on a health-care system geared to affirming a young person’s transgender feelings with drugs and surgery, allegedly in some instances after little assessment of other psychological issues.

Alarms are being sounded all over the world, and Canada seems completely deaf to it."

How often do we protest any of this?

Prolifers get together once a year for their "Walk or March for Life" (depending on where they live).

THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH. ❗️

People, young and old, are being slaughtered by the THOUSANDS every year and children and teenagers are being systematically brainwashed to believe their "gender was assigned at birth". Then given Puberty Blockers that leave them sterilized for life BEFORE the age of TEN. Then ushered into clinics to have their breasts and penises and testicles cut off BEFORE the age of eighteen. 

WITHOUT THEIR PARENTS CONSENT!

And you're okay with this?

Well, I'm not.😡

In 1985, the year I graduated from high school, a movie called, "The Legend of Billie Jean" was released. It was basically a summer, teen rebellion Flick and a pretty "lame-O" one at that. But on the soundtrack was the song "INVINCIBLE" by Pat Benetar. It was one of her lesser known songs and wasn't on the charts very long but I felt it intensely, right down to my "gizzard" (as the Owls of G'hoole say).

It never ceases to amaze me how often I come across a "blast from my past" that is catered PERFECTLY for the here and now.

This World is in a chaotic, confusing, upside-down, evil mess and the Self-important Baby-Boomers and Self-Indulgent Gen-Xers are asleep at the wheel or just too plain cowardly to get informed and take a stand.

Fine. So be it. 🤷‍♀️ But the Young People under 35 aren't. 

(And neither am I, BTW)

So MOVE OVER, Old Fogies,🚙 and LET THE YOUNG PEOPLE DRIVE! 🚀

I'm talking to Millennials and Gen-Zs now.

Don't wait for your parents and grandparents to help.

YOU can do this. YOU were created for this time and place.

GOD is on YOUR side.

I'M NOT GOING TO KILL MYSELF, CANADA! (Deal with it)

 

In 2019, after taking a two hour nap, I woke up to suddenly discover without warning I was paralyzed from the neck down. 

Once in the hospital the testing began in earnest to unlock this medical mystery. Each discipline of medicine from Internal to Gastroenterology to Endocrinology to Psychology to Neurology (and many in between) tried to solve it. Who would be the doctor to make a name for themselves to solve the puzzle? Even the hospital administrators were watching the progress intently. After weeks of endless tests as I lay in my bed unable to move (wearing my diaper) the doctor who was coordinating it came in to speak the verdict and this what he said,

"Laura-Lee, we don't know why you're in that bed so we can't get you out. You will just have to do whatever it takes to prepare yourself emotionally and mentally to live out the remainder of your life that way."

(Not the thing you want to hear when you've just turned fifty-three years-old)

So much for ALMIGHTY Medical Science!

The amazing thing was that overnight (literally) the attitude towards me changed. No longer was I a "means to gain glory" but just a HUGE burden on society and the staff made sure I knew that's what they thought of me. Not just by their neglect but by abuse as well (which is why I am not naming the EDMONTON hospital outright).

That was then, this is now. Now we have "progressed" to MAID or Medical Assistance In Dying. All 100% paid for by our Universal Healthcare in Canada.

"Give me your tired, your poor,

The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.

Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me…"

and we will promptly administer a lethal injection so they can "die with dignity" because our economy is in ruins and they are in the way sucking up our resources and this is the easiest "path of least resistance".

At least that's the way the governments of Canada see it.

The rest of the world stands absolutely aghast and appalled at Canadians for doing nothing about it. They think we are a bunch of self-indulgent, clueless cowards. And you know what, sadly I agree.

However, even with the doctors' verdicts, God had different plans for me. I came back to my home less than 3 months later. THANK YOU, JESUS! He never gives up on us even when the rest of the world does.

I  might be home but I'm still partially paralyzed. I need to use a walker. I get a small disability pension that keeps me living well below the poverty line and I'm in chronic pain. 

BUT…my life STILL has purpose. I STILL have something valuable to contribute. And my BEST days are AHEAD of me. 

I am NEVER, EVER, EVER…EVER going to kill myself, with or without a doctor's help.

EVER!

 You are just going to have to deal with me, Canada. Me and the MILLIONS of other sick, poor and disabled Canadians who embrace LIFE.

JESUS SAID,

"I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have LIFE, and have it to the FULL.

 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. (John 10:9-11)

Jesus. A Shepherd who gives His Life for others instead of wanting them to kill themselves because they are considered a burden and a bother. WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE!
