For decades I've been learning about Domestic Violence, Sexual Abuse and Incest increasing within the walls of the Christian Church, but when I tried to expose it, it was mostly met with disbelief.
I have prayed that someday it would be exposed.
About a year ago I told you that the "someday of exposure" was about to hit and it has. It is now a weekly occurrence to hear of another Christian leader, Minister, Priest or Celebrity who has been doing some very evil things Behind the Closed Doors of their churches and homes and are now being Charged and CONVICTED of their crimes. Many of which have been going on for years.❗️I'm so relieved it has finely started.
However, what I didn't expected to encounter is how many Christians are taking the side of the PERPETRATORS not the VICTIMS❗️
Even after these criminals have been CONVICTED and being hauled off to prison, Christians will come out to PUBLICLY defend them. 😲
Why?
Because they ADMIRE these Scumbags and/or can't face the reality of what they've done.
CHRISTIANS need to stop admiring people other than Jesus (or Bible people God has set up as examples), or as more and more people that you idolize fall by the wayside, you will fall too, because you've got your foundation of faith on IDOLS not JESUS.
And just because someone SAYS they're a Christian and SAYS they are sorry doesn't erase their crimes.
People who stand up for these types of people are a MAJOR part of why victims have taken so long to speak up. Their complaints fell on deaf ears.
Let's get Practical
Skip reporting things to Pastors and Church Folk❗️
Go DIRECTLY to the Police. A CRIME Must be Reported.
Now, I didn't think I'd ever need to tell people this, especially Christians, but these following things are crimes that need to be reported.
🔴 Sexually molesting People
🔴 Having sex with a minor (even if they "consent" to it.)
🔴 Forcing your daughter, or any fanily member to have sex with you. YES. Even raping your wife is illegal.
🔴 Beating people up. YES. That includes family members.
🔴 (Unfortunately) not all Pornography is illegal, except ☝️if there is a child in it. Then it must be reported.
🔴 If you are an adult (of legal age) and you are trying to go somewhere and someone tries to stop you, maybe by threatening you verbally or taking away your car keys and phone, that is a crime too.
You're FREE❗️YOU have the right to come and go as you please, unrestricted and unhindered.
🔴 If you are unsure if you're the victim of a crime, try phoning the Police (non-Emergency number) in your area. They can guide and inform you.
Other reasons people demonstrate so little compassion for victims of such egregious crimes is that they don't read their Bible enough, so they are unaware of sound doctribe and are being led instead by their feelings.
AND ... it's also another sign we are in the End Times.
So what happens now, beyond my rantings?
More of the same. From Churches to Christian Ministries and Christian Homes, God is cleaning HIS Houses. Judgment has come. Not only for those who commited the crimes, but for those who stood silently by, justified the criminals and/or helped cover up their illegal activities. And merely saying, "I'm sorry. Really, REALLY sorry" is NOT going to get any of you off the hook.
